Kalanchoe ‘Dream Bells’ is a charming flowering succulent known for its delicate clusters of small, bell-shaped blooms that dangle gracefully from upright stems. The soft orange to coral flowers resemble tiny lanterns, giving the plant a playful and slightly whimsical look when in bloom.
Its glossy green succulent leaves store water, making it an easy-care houseplant that suits bright indoor spaces. When flowering, the cascading bells add colour and movement, making it a lovely choice for windowsills, plant shelves, or grouped succulent displays.
Native to Madagascar through its Kalanchoe lineage, this hybrid enjoys warm conditions and plenty of light. With the right care it can produce flowers repeatedly, bringing cheerful colour during the cooler months when many other houseplants are resting.
Plant Care
Light: A sunny window seal is best for this beauty. It prefers bright light and can handle direct sun. A south-facing window is best.
Watering: These plants are drought tolerant. Only water when the soil appears dry, as overwatering can quickly kill these plants. It's usually time to water when the leaves become a bit limp and floppy. Cut way back on watering in the winter and only water when your plant puckers.
Temperature: 16-27°C. Is ideal. Keep them above 12C for best results.
Potting: A well-draining mix is ideal for this plant. Our Savvy Succa would be a great fit.
Hot tips: Remove dying flowers at the base of the stem with clean snips
